Our website is hosted with <strong>Laravel Cloud</strong>. Provider: Laravel LLC, 1040 Eola Drive, PMB 481, Aurora, Illinois 60502, USA. The server locations for this project are within the European Union (region Frankfurt, Germany). Processing is carried out exclusively on our behalf (Art. 28 GDPR). Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in secure and efficient operation of the website).
In exceptional cases, data may be transferred to third countries (e.g., the USA), for example for maintenance by the provider. In such cases, an adequate level of protection is ensured (e.g., EU standard contractual clauses). A data processing agreement is in place with Laravel Cloud.
When accessing our website, the hosting provider automatically collects server log files (e.g., IP address, date/time, requested URL, referrer URL, user agent). Processing is carried out to ensure a technically error-free and secure operation (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). Log data is regularly deleted unless longer storage is necessary for evidence purposes.
If you contact us via contact form, email, phone, or WhatsApp, we process the data you provide (e.g., name, email, phone, preferred region, travel period, number of guests, budget, duration, notes) to handle your enquiry and to take steps prior to entering into a contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR) and/or based on our legitimate interest in efficient communication (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). Data will be deleted once the enquiry has been completed and no statutory retention obligations apply.
If you contact us via WhatsApp, your data is transmitted to WhatsApp Ireland Limited, 4 Grand Canal Square, Grand Canal Harbour, Dublin 2, Ireland (group company: Meta Platforms). Data transfer to third countries (especially the USA) may occur. We have agreed appropriate safeguards (standard contractual clauses) with WhatsApp. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR for communication and, where applicable, Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. Please use alternative contact methods if you do not wish your data to be shared with WhatsApp/Meta.
If we use non-essential cookies or similar technologies, we obtain your prior consent. The legal basis for storing/reading non-essential information on your device is § 25 TDDDG. Subsequent processing of personal data is based on your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR) or our legitimate interests (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). You may withdraw your consent at any time with effect for the future.
We use Google Tag Manager (Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland). It manages website tags, does not set its own cookies to our knowledge and typically does not process personal data. However, it can trigger further tags that in turn process data. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR.
We use Google Consent Mode (v2), which controls how Google tags operate depending on your consent. Without consent, only consent-friendly pings are sent; marketing/analytics cookies are not set. Legal bases: Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR in conjunction with § 25 TDDDG (non-essential purposes) and Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (privacy-friendly measurement).
We use Google Analytics 4 (GA4) by Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland (“Google”) to analyze and improve the use of our website. You can withdraw consent at any time via the banner. Data transfer to third countries (especially the USA) may occur; Google uses standard contractual clauses. Data transfer to third countries (especially the USA) may occur; Google uses standard contractual clauses. Further information: Privacy Policy · Terms of Service.
We maintain profiles on social networks (e.g., Instagram, LinkedIn). When visiting the respective platforms, the providers’ privacy policies apply. Links on our website only trigger data transfer upon click.
We use processors (e.g., hosting providers) who process personal data solely on our instructions. Where services are provided by vendors outside the EU/EEA, third-country transfers may occur. In such cases we ensure an adequate level of protection (e.g., EU standard contractual clauses or adequacy decisions) and inform via the consent banner and/or this policy.
Unless stated otherwise herein, we process personal data only as long as necessary for the respective purpose. Data is then deleted unless statutory retention obligations apply.
Under the GDPR you have, in particular, the right of access (Art. 15), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction (Art. 18), data portability (Art. 20), and objection (Art. 21). Where processing is based on your consent, you may withdraw it at any time with effect for the future (Art. 7(3) GDPR).
You have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority, in particular in the member state of your habitual residence, place of work, or place of the alleged infringement.
The provision of personal data is not legally required. However, certain information is necessary to process your enquiry via the contact form (mandatory fields). Without these we cannot process your request.
We update this privacy policy if the legal situation, our services, or data processing change. Please review these privacy notices regularly.
